Steve & Sandra Kington

What do we do?

Steve:

I have the awesome privilege of being the go-to person for Life Church. My position is always to be available to assist people with any issues or queries about the church, especially to ensure that new people quickly feel at home.

Sandra:

I am employed by the Salvation Army as a financial counsellor where I support people of the community with there financial hardship. I have a passion to see people succeed and make a difference in their lives by empowering them with the resources required to do this.
My role at life church is assisting with New Beginning and Life group "Know Your Bible".

How long have I been at Life Church?

Steve:

I have been at life church since it commenced way back in 2004, and have served as a board member for most of that time. I am now in an Eldership position and work closely with Ps. Matt and the team to ensure that Pastoral care is provided to everyone in times of hardship or distress.

Sandra:

I have been a member of Life Church since 2014.

What are your plans and vision for your ministry?

Steve:

I am married to my wonderful wife Sandra and together we run the New Beginners course and also the Know Your Bible Life Group. My passion is to help people grow in their faith and relationship with our awesome Father God, as well as helping them discover their God-given gifts and the joy that comes with using them for His service and glory.

Sandra:

My heart is for people, to be able to encourage them in their walk with the Lord. I am able to do this by sharing my own story about the amazing things God has done in my life and how he changed me.

What are some of your favourite things?

Steve:

I am also a passionate Hawks supporter and love to relax by going on long drives to discover new places, mainly bakeries!!

Sandra:

My favourite things to do is spend time with family and friends, gardening and cake decorating. Myself and husband Steve enjoy entertaining and I enjoy cooking, so these things work well together.

Something people won't know about me is my Horticultural background, I was in the industry for 16yrs.  I am looking forward to the day we can do a lap of Australia and God using us on the road.
