Summing up with 10 things we can do to stop falling asleep / stagnating in our personal relationship with God.

Acts 16:16-26 - Paul and Silas in jail.

There are 10 key things we can do to stop falling asleep / stagnating in our personal relationship with God and to become more like Paul:

1. Read the bible as often as you can.

Timothy 3 16-17 –All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the servant of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work,

Psalm 119:105-106 - Your word is a lamp for my feet, a light on my path. I have taken an oath and confirmed it, that I will follow your righteous laws.

2. Pray regularly, not just when you need help or want something!

1 Thessalonians 5:16- 18 – Rejoice always, Pray Continually, give thanks in all circumstances

Phillipians 4:6-7 - Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.
